- Brent Larson, founder and President, first started Hi-Land Hay as a sole proprietorship in 1992, then incorporated in 1996. Brent began his career in agriculture as an alfalfa hay producer, broker and cattle rancher. Due to health complications which prevented him from working the ranch, he retired from the farming/ranching operation and started his full-time hay brokerage company in 1992.
