Looking out over the water! Here's a LIVE view of the straits from the live webcams at Highland Inn, brought to you by us and our friends at IslandCam. The Highland Inn is nestled on a wooded hillside overlooking the Haro Straits where it joins the Straits of Juan de Fuca. San Juan Island is home to three resident pods of over 80 Orca whales. From April through October the waters below the inn are their feeding and play grounds. They are easily seen and heard from the expansive decks.
