Hicks with Sticks is the site for roots Americana, alt-country and rockabilly in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Hicks with Sticks began as a radio show in October 1999.  An e-newsletter told listeners about future guests, new CDs, news and events, and soon the newsletter had a larger audience than the radio show.  The newsletter, which still appears on the Home page, developed into this site.  Send "subscribe"  to have the news and calendar delivered to you.
