The Hialeah Technology Center (HIATEC) was established by the City of Hialeah through its Department of Grants and Human Services to perform research, technology development and technology transfer activities in various industrial and scientific fields, as well as to offer training, vocational and non-vocational programs to industry and the workforce community in general.
