Heartland Gay Rodeo Association
Description
HGRA is one of 26 member associations of the International Gay Rodeo Association (IGRA). For the past 7 years HGRA has held rodeos in Fremont and Springfield, Nebraska.
From the farmlands to the big city, HGRA members are lawyers, teachers, government employees, factory workers, computer technicians, and bankers. The members come from all walks of life. The core of HGRA members live in Nebraska and Western Iowa, but many more live across the United States.
HGRA educates and trains members in country/western dancing, sponsors rodeo-training workshops, and produces educational material. These activities allow members the opportunity to forge friendships with men and women who share a common interest.
