After graduating from Atlanta School of Art in 1973 with a BFA in Painting and in Printmaking, he returned to Jackson to resume his career as a professional photographer with a local studio. Starting in architectural photography by working for world famous Mississippi architect Samuel Mockbee, Worley has gone on to photograph buildings across North America, South America, southeast Asia and eastern Europe.
