- Heritage Holdings was created in 2006 with a mandate to restore Victorian era rental properties. Our first project is a block of three circa 1890s heritage buildings at the busy intersection of High St. (Highway 34) and Main St. (County Road 10) in the picturesque community of Vankleek Hill, Ontario. We have dubbed this group of buildings the South West Block. (Please click the here to see our properties.) The buildings of the South West Block are undergoing a major restoration to return the structures to their traditional Victorian look. It is our conviction that this restoration project, in the heart of the community, will contribute to the continuing revival of Vankleek Hill which is proclaimed "The Gingerbread Capital of Ontario" for its concentration of Victorian era brick buildings adorned with fancy wooden scrollwork and trim.
