Henry and Marilynn Blackaby were pioneer missionaries in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan while they raised their five children. All of the children sensed a unique call of God into ministry. Their oldest son, Dr. Richard Blackaby currently serves as President of the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary in Cochrane, Alberta. Thomas Blackaby is the pastor of the North Sea Baptist Church in Stavanger, Norway. Dr. Melvin Blackaby is the pastor of Bow Valley Baptist Church in Cochrane, Alberta. Dr. Norman Blackaby is the Vice President of Blackaby Ministries International and lives in Cochrane, Alberta. Carrie Blackaby-Webb is a career missionary serving in Brilon, Germany.
The heart-cry of the Blackaby family is to disciple God’s people in such a way that God’s Holy Spirit would bring Revival in the hearts of God’s people and Spiritual Awakening to a lost world.
