Merry Meet to all my fellow Witches out there. I am a Third Degree, Elevated High Priestess in the Gardnerian/Alexandrian tradition of Wicca. I have been practicing Paganism and Witchcraft for a number of years....too many for me to acknowledge! Although I have earned the title of High Priestess in the highest level of the Wiccan tradition, and the years it took me to get there, I am more Witch than anything else and no longer call myself Wiccan, as according to the Oxford Dictionary, Wicca is a male term. I also do not follow the Wiccan religion because of its male emphasis on the Sun God and a religion entitled with a male name when it is a Goddess religion. I am simply a Witch and Pagan. I have never regretted the many years of training which I received as an initiated Wiccan. I also took many workshops in the arts of magick and its symbolism, ritual work, divination, etc.
I was in partnership of two other websites in that the other person did the graphics, and I provided all of the material. She approached me to create these websites, since she had no material whatsoever and I was a Third Degree High Priestess. Later on, she decided to go her separate way and instead of only taking the domain names and graphics, she took my material which took years to build with her, since she had no material of her own and that included the Great Goddess Hecate. The two websites are Hecate Beneath the Veil and Sisters of the Craft. I went on to learn how to create this most magickal website and have added much more material and will continue to do so, as being a Witch flows strongly through my veins. I am now the Webweaver and Wordweaver of my own website. Perhaps it is what the Goddess Hecate wanted all along for me, as I have always been a Priestess of Hecate, and it ended up working out great. Through Her inner strength and wisdom, I was able to put a website together of my own and build upon that, which was a huge challenge for me, as I knew practically nothing regarding graphics and web building back then. Fritz, of Witche's Voice gave me great encouragement. Thank you Fritz! The Goddess Hecate has opened many doors for me so that I could continue on with my work in serving Her, the Goddess religion, and being Her Priestess.
I am also High Priestess of my own coven entitled Hecate's Cauldron which is centered in Maryland. Because I am an initiated Wiccan of the highest degree; I am able to initiate others into the Craft. However, when I initiate someone into the Craft, I go mostly by the Wiccan tradition, except I do not put any emphasis on the Great Rite (whether it be symbolic or otherwise), nudity, nor on the whip, or Descent of the Goddess in the Second Degree. I respect their tradition but just do not follow it, as I have my own ideas and teachings and wish to not follow a religion created by yet another man and a religion named for a male entitled Wicca.
