Kathlynne lives in Eugene, Oregon. She is an artist, craftswoman and writer as well as an acknowledged practitioner of Shamanism in Oregon and Northern California. She is currently writing a book on integrating Shamanism into modern community life.
Kathlynne has been practicing shamanism all her life, in daily communication with the invisible and the teachings of the Dreamtime. A deepening of her practice began in 1985 while homesteading in a remote area of Northern California, part of the "Back To The Land " movement of the 1970's. During these years, she experienced a soul-bonding with the land, the planet and the Spirits of Nature. She is a "contemporary" shamanic practitoner, meaning she does not follow or represent any particular tradition or culture, but draws her knowledge directly from her own relationship with Spirit, the Ancestors and her years of training.
Shamans are often solitary souls with "ways of their own" gleaned from the spirits who whisper in their ears, guide them in their dreams and wink at them from the weeds.
