For some, speaking in front of an audience is a fate worse than death, but for Rosalie Moscoe, speaking is an adrenalin rush that gives her an opportunity to be "on"! Through speaking, she teaches, sometimes singing, sometimes using humour, but always with the hope of inspiring others towards self-development.
Rosalie's personal growth is her mantra. She's one of the few people who love change (even though she's been married to the same steady guy over 30 years...) She says that learning or trying something new makes life interesting and fun. At three, she quickly learned how to upstage her six-year old brother at his holiday concert where he was scheduled to sing. Having practised at home with him, she knew every word of the song. Although she'd never been on stage before, instinctively, she raced behind the scenes, and when the curtain rose, two children instead of one began to sing.
Later, as a young mother, Rosalie showed her kids that life is exciting. The museum, the zoo, subway rides, libraries, music and sports events became their norm just as they had been in her childhood. She pursued the arts by learning to play guitar, studying theatre techniques, taking dance and other courses at college and university levels, and saw her poetry and articles published. With entertaining still in her blood, Rosalie and her mother created a mother/daughter comedy team, and for a couple of years, they performed for their community. Meanwhile, Rosalie also enjoyed singing at her children's nursery school and was eventually employed by various nursery schools and libraries to provide creative music programs for youngsters.
