Description
Rita Kluny has been a registered nurse for over 30 years and has been in the healing arts for 25 years. She has been teaching Healing Touch (HT) for thirteen years, (inter)nationally. She has integrated HT into the Neonatal Intensive Care. She was on the advisory board of a NIH-funded research project underway at the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson. The study focused on the stress level of critically ill babies, and efficacy of HT.
Rita is nationally certified as a Holistic Nurse, a Healing Touch practitioner and instructor. She is a member of Healing Touch International and the American Holistic Nurses Association. She was named the American Holistic Nurse of the Year in 1994. She is a Master's candidate for a degree in Spiritual Healing and Theology.
Rita is based in Austin, TX. She maintains a private practice in Healing Touch for all ages, and works part time at Seton Medical Center.
