Description
I offer psychotherapy grounded in the depth psychology of C. G. Jung. My Healing Expression approach includes opportunities for active imagination including sandplay, dreamwork, expressive arts and body/soul work woven with the dialogue of talk therapy. I relate to clients as whole beings on paths of healing and personal development. I understand therapeutic work often involves issues of spirituality and personal identity. I respect individual expressions of these. Please see the Information page tab to the left for descriptions of the opportunities I offer.
My practice serves adults and adolescents, individuals and couples in metro Denver communities. I also have a satelite office near Pine Junction, where I previously practiced for six years, which serves the mountain communities of Conifer, Bailey, Evergreen and others.
I participate in continuing professional development. I am a member of the Sandplay Therapists of America and the International Society of Sandplay Therapists. I was a student of Marion Woodman, internationally prominent Jungian analyst and her colleagues, Mary Hamilton and Ann Skinner, in their Bodysoul Rhythms Leadership Training Program recently completed. I am a member and former executive council member of the Colorado Sandplay Therapy Association and a member and former board member of the Colorado Association of Psychotherapists. I maintain an atmosphere of high professional ethics, confidentiality, and standards of practice.
