. Pretty cool little phone. The phone is a PDA/Smart Phone that is less then a half inch thick. It can do almost anything a treo can do because it runs MS Mobile 5.0 but is smaller. It has a built in camera with flash. The keys are..well...perfect as can be on a PDA. I have had mine for about a week now and I can do everything with one hand. In fact, I have typed all of this on my phone, in real time with zero lag. Verizon's network is brilliant. In Kansas City, my speeds are just as fast as my home cable through time warner. It has bluetooth technology, email, web surfing, and in an ultra thin package.
Now the bad: It doesn't have a touchscreen. This could be bad and could be good. I personally don't use a touchscreen and would rather not have it but on some of your "palm" applications this might hender thier functionality. Also, documents aren't as easy to edit without the touchscreen but I feel that the wheel mouse is more then adequate to compensate for the lack of a touchscreen. And it doesn't have the full version of mobile 5.0. No word, excel, or powerpoint. Only Picsel Viewer that can view pretty much any file including PDF. (I have a feeling though they will upgrade this quickly to include atleast word and excel.)
Hey, figured I would post a download for you all since I haven't updated the site in nearly a month (I apologize). Anyways, the new Tool single, "Vicarious," leaked yesterday since the record label left their FTP unprotected when sending the song to radio stations. So, for those that want to hear the song, click on the audio thing to the right or click here to download the new song. Although the song really did not blow me away when I first heard it, it was nice to hear those Tool guitar riffs again. Also, please do not try to kill my bandwith as the song is 16mb, so if you want to share the song with your friends, link to head-trip and not directly to the file. Thanks.
