Several years ago, I worked for a CPA, editing tax returns and working general ledgers. Working with the ever-changing complexities of the tax law intrigued me.
A few years later, I opened a Home Day Care, in order to help provide for my family and be with my children (I have four - a great way to learn organizational skills). Again, I studied the regulations surrounding the tax law Home Day Cares and Home Businesses are subject to -- today I am able to combine both interests.
In April 2004, I became an Enrolled Agent, meaning that I am enrolled to represent my clients before the Internal Revenue Service. Only attorneys, CPAs, and Enrolled Agents (EAs) may represent taxpayers before the IRS.
