Hazza.net

Hazza.net was registered on the 20th February 1999 by Matthew Harris, who was at the time studying at the University of Wales, Bangor. The site was originally set up as a fan page for the Canadian born boy band "The Moffatts". In 2001 the band decided to split, and following the release of the "Submodalities" Album, the registrant began to lose interest in the band.

The site transformed itself after a brief closure into a "blog" style page which touted products that the registrant found interesting, and began associate links with Amazon.co.uk.

Several versions of the site went online, the first couple being in plain HTML, and them moving into dynamic PHP. A version of PHP Nuke was used at one point but was abandoned following a successful hacking attempt which rendered the site useless. The registrant now appears to use Drupal as the weapon of choice.

The site continues to be a personal blog-style site, bringing in RSS newsfeeds via the Drupal interface. The Hazzanet logo was created with Macromedia Fireworks, and was the second logo that was created. A third logo made a brief appearance but was removed shortly after with the registrant preferring to stay with the Macromedia version.
