It is unique in that there is a small population of Koalas resident in the town that can be seen migrating from tree to tree in the Koala reserve and in other parts about town, you may even find one in your own back or front yard from time to time. It is easy to see why the area is becoming more and more popular to tourists, retirees and sea-changers.
Overview
We are proud sponsors of major golfing events such as the Hawks Nest First National Real Estate Summer Classic, held in December each year , the Trainee Pro-Am in February, and the Ladies Classic held in March. All are extremely popular events with people travelling far and wide to compete. Nomination forms are available from Hawks Nest Golf Club. We are also active in the community, sponsoring the Surf Lifesaving Club, Hawks rugby league team, volunteering for community medical transport and support the Myall Koala Group.
