A dolphin swam right up to Jeri Parker and got so close she could look him in the eye. In fact, she was facing an entire pod of them as they circled around her near Keauhou Bay. Jeri had just eased off the side of her kayak when the spinner dolphins surfaced to greet her. Adventurous by nature, she wasn’t alarmed. It was all in a day’s fun for a woman who has found her sanctuary on the Island of Hawaii.
