Description
Jan has practiced Yoga since 1974 and began teaching Yoga at her Northern CA studio "Yoga in the Park" in 1980. Today she is one of the most beloved Yoga teachers in Denver. She creates a personalized yoga practice for each of her students that results from a collaborative assessment of each individual’s unique needs, goals, and visions. Her teachings reflect her Sivananda training under the direction of Swami Vishnu Devananda as well as her continued study of Anusara Yoga with founder John Friend and meditation under the guidance of Sally Kempton (formerly Durgananda). Jan is a Yoga Alliance RYT 500.
She is available to work with small groups or individuals who wish to establish a good foundation for a new practice or to further a practice that has reached a plateau. She also teaches regularly scheduled classes in Denver.
