- The founders being friends since high school were able to come together to build GIMP. Eric Rasmussen has been involved with marketing and Information Technology for over 8 years in some form or another. With over 7 years of experience, Justin Rasmussen has helped develop many new technologies as well as building a local computer repair facility in his hometown. Michael Murray being in the industry of film and production for 6 years while building a business of his own. As the three friends discussed more about what they have disliked about traditional media and the emerging technology in podcasting, GIMP started to become a reality. The three of them joined together to form the idea of a media network being distributed over the internet.
