Alex and Tiffany's passion for websites that are easy to use and hassle-free to own started with their idea to expand their first small business company to include Internet e-commerce. "It should be easier than this," Alex muttered, when he found out that he had to deal with three different companies - a domain name registrar, an expensive design firm, and a hosting company. Instead, they decided to learn website design and e-commerce programming and built their own websites.
Today, even as the Internet matures and businesses have accepted its great ability to provide information, getting a website for a small business is still a lot of hassle. Companies still have to get a domain name from a registrar, web design from a desiger, and monthly hosting from a separate hosting company. When their product or service information change - and inevitably they will - companies have to re-work their design contract with the designer.
