- HarMel Racing attended the Brainerd race this past weekend going to the 4th round of bracket 1. In the first round Mel paired with Mike Anderson (the Mike Anderson who Mel lost to in the final two weeks ago) winning a close race. The next two rounds were dragster kills with the Worlds Fastest Pontiac running 9.850 and 9.846 on 9.85 and 9.84 dials. The next round against Myron (The Agitator) dialing 9.84 and running 9.842 Mel still lost because Myron had a better light. The Worlds Fastest 48 Pontiac is running great and with only two races left this weekend at Rock Falls with Mel only 4 points ahead in first place should be exciting.
