Harleys are consistently noted for the tradition of heavy and quality customization that led to the immense popularity of the chopper-style of motorcycles. IHarley also licenses its logo, for use on Harley Davidson T-shirts, Harley Davidson logos, Harley Davidson parts and many other accessories. This business is an extremely profitable side business (5% of net income or $ 41 million of revenue in 2004). Buell Motorcyle Company has been a 98% subsidiary of Harley-Davidson since 1998.
