- All my life my family has called me "Ellie Mae" because of my love for animals, especially dogs. I can't remember a time when I didn't have one or two or more:) So, in 2002, when I learned about the up and coming Labradoodle breed, I just knew I had found my calling. Several months later, after a lot of prayer and many emails between myself and Rochelle, a unanimous decision was made in our household. The Lord willing, we would sell our home in Florida and relocate in Oregon. We got on Rochelle's waiting list for puppies and God blessed every decision we had to make thereafter. My husband was offered better employment, our home sold in less than a month and we found the home and property we were looking for before we left Florida! He truly blessed us in every way! The hardest part was knowing how long we would have to wait for our puppies. At that time, Spring Creek's waiting list was a year and a half long!
