Welcome to HangDog Climbing Centre! HangDog is an indoor rock climbing centre with huge, brilliantly painted walls that reach heights of up to 14m and New Zealand's best bouldering room.
HangDog is perfect for individuals or groups of any ability. We have around 70 different climbs with a huge range of difficulties available, so there's always something for everyone.
Attracting many of NZ's top rock climbers, our main bouldering room is New Zealand's best and is equipped with the world's largest bouldering mat. Bright orange, the 700mm deep air-mat enables people of all ages to safely push their climbing skills to the limit. Local athletes use the room's four metre high ceiling, specialised holds and angled surfaces to hone their technique.
