Description
Hambleton Lumber Co. is located on the Columbia River in Washougal, Washington, near Portland, Oregon, approximately 10 miles east of Vancouver, Washington. Founded by James Hambleton in 1960, Hambleton was operated by James and his brother, Floyd, until June of 2002, when James Hambleton Jr. purchased the sawmill assets of Hambleton Bros. Lumber Co. and formed Hambleton Lumber Co., LLC.
Approximately 90% of the mill production is in large dimension green Douglas Fir planks and timbers. The mill specializes in both surfaced and rough lumber in sizes up to 24"x24"x24'. We maintain extensive inventories so that we can supply customer needs on demand. Hambleton primarily sells in truck load quantities, but rail service is also available to our markets which extend from British Columbia to Southern California.
