- The Hailey Ski Team was founded in 1980, with the mission to widen the opportunity of Wood River Valley youth to participate in an affordable and family oriented alpine ski racing program. The Hailey Ski Team, parents and coaches help each student athlete maximize his or her personal, academic and athletic potential. The Hailey Ski Team promotes life values such as family, perseverance, work ethic, sportsmanship, responsibility and honesty in a positive team environment. Today, the Hailey Ski Team continues to produce confident, successful athletes with a lifelong passion, the sport of alpine skiing.
