Hafner’s Flower Barn is owned and operated by Mike and Marcia Hafner. Mike is the son of the late Jake and Mary Hafner and literally grew up on the corner of West Taft and Allen Roads (the location of the flower shop). Marcia studied floral design in Ohio in the early 1970’s. Mike and Marcia have been in the agriculture/horticulture business over 30 years. They grew corn, tomatoes and strawberries on 100 acres of land in the Towns of Clay and Salina, operated a farm stand, and raised bedding plants and poinsettias in their own greenhouses. They owned another retail flower shop at the present location for 17 years. They are embarking on a new adventure with the creation of Hafner’s Flower Barn.
