ISO Programmer- a piece of equipment to read the cards ATR and a couple of other pieces of information but as a newbie the most critical one is the ATR. The cable is Cat 5 and at the other endis the probe that is inserted into the receiver. This data contains BOTH the program for the PIC:s on-board processor, plus the secret numbers ("keys") for the encryption process. It is an area of the card that has permanent data pertaining to the card. 'H' cards contain a RISC micro-controller core which emulates an 8051 microcontroller, 8K bytes of masked ROM, 4K bytes of EEPROM, and 256 bytes of RAM. Once opened, the card will allow any writing and reading to be done.
