On a visit to Williamsburg, Virginia, in early 1978, Suzanne Johnson and her daughter, Kelley, found a unique collection of antique reproduction furniture called "Habersham Plantation." Excited by this collection, information was obtained about opening a dealership in Delaware. At the time, Martin Johnson was retiring from the Delaware State Police.
