Gulf Resources Development Corp., known as "GRDC", dates back to the founding of Nekton Co., Inc. in 1978 in Tehran. In 1995, the partners established "Gulf Resources Development Corp" in Dubai, U.A.E, where the company can enjoy a free policy, free tax, convenient port and banking facilities. With the establishment of the company in U.A.E, petrochemical business was developed and greatly increased. Grdc played one of the important roles in the export of iranian petrochemicals. In 1997, the company shifted her legal registration to the British Virgin Island, U.K. with the company name of "Gulf Resources Development Corp" and turned U.A.E office into her branch company. In the middle of 1997, GRDC Shanghai office was established.
