Girl Scouts of Minn-Ia-kota
Description
The Council serves over 4,000 members in a 13 county area covering eastern South Dakota, one county in Iowa and one county in Minnesota. A 501C3 (non-profit) organization, it was established in 1954 and continues to serve girls ages 5-17 in the nationally chartered Girl Scout Program. The Council is governed by a volunteer board of 23 members. Current officers include:
The Council operates an official Girl Scout Equipment Agency in the office, where parents, volunteers and friends of Girl Scouting may purchase uniforms, gift items and books. The Council Shop is open during the following hours:
