Gippsland Secured Investments Ltd commenced business in 1970. It had its origins in a Solicitor's Mortgage practice operated by the legal firm Warren, Graham & Murphy since the 1950's. The company is now an independent financial institution operating with Trust Deed Status under the Corporations Law, and is member of the Provic Group. Since its formation the Company has, with the benefit of prudent management, enjoyed sound profitability and steady growth. It currently has depositors of over 92 million dollars.
Monies invested in the Company's Debentures by investors are used principally to lend money on mortgage security. The Company's primary focus is on development in East Gippsland although it does from time to time approve loans in others parts of Victoria and interstate. Lending is made on the security of real estate for commercial, farming, developmental, industrial or residential purposes within our investment guidelines.
