Description
Girl Scouts of Freedom Valley is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that is open to every girl everywhere within our organization. Girl Scouts of Freedom Valley was chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA in 1964 to provide the Girl Scout Program to girls ages 5-17 in Bucks, Chester, and parts of Montgomery Counties, located in southeastern Pennsylvania. Ruth E. Kravitz serves as President of the 21-member Board of Directors. Girl Scouts of Freedom Valley's Chief Executive Officer is Janet E. Garretson.
There are more than 21,000 girls in over 1,700 troops and groups throughout Girl Scouts of Freedom Valley's jurisdiction. Girl Scouts of Freedom Valley offers exciting programs to girls in the following program levels:
Over 7,000 adult volunteers enable us to provide Girl Scouting opportunities to girls in every corner of our jurisdiction. Adult members serve as troop/group leaders, board members, consultants, fundraisers, event planners, and staff specialists.
