Description
A retired Occupational Therapist, Peg graduated in Biology at the College of Wooster (Ohio), Western Michigan University, and the University of Connecticut. She has been teaching a variety of therapeutic crafts since 1959. After retirement she has resumed an active interest in nature, an outgrowth of childhood experiences. Peg is a North Carolina Master Gardener and currently grows flowers and vegetables organically at Grreenfrog Farm, her home. She does the harvesting, pressing, drying and storage of flowers as well as some of the creative work for Grreenfrog Crafts.
A retired Biologist, Linda graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and Henderson State Teachers College in Arkansas. After teaching Biology in the Florida schools for twenty years, she continued in the field for fifteen years as a landscape designer and an environmental consultant in her own business in the Florida Keys. After retiring to North Carolina, she continued to feed her lifelong interest in Botany by growing herbs and flowers of special interest, form, color, and texture. She also is a Carolina Master Gardener. Linda selects the types of seeds, and at her home, Grreenfrog Farm, she grows these plants to maturity for Peg to process as noted, and participates in the creative work for Grreenfrog Crafts.
