We are Scott Blessley & Kathy Hornbach, two early-retirees (at age 45, give or take) -- we're 52 now (2009). How'd we manage that? Started early, had decent incomes, weren't (and aren't) profligate spenders. Oh, and no kids. Very expensive, kids. We live part of the time in Vancouver, British Columbia (when it's warm), and Oro Valley (near Tucson) Arizona (when it isn't too warm). In between, we travel quite a bit -- often to Asia (inexpensive) or on cruise ships (as Lecturers; free).
