This website is meant to serve as an information center where the public can educate itself about what greyhound racing really represents. We have spent many hours thinking about the injustice of Greyhound Racing and the only way we'll feel a better about it, short of a nationwide dog racing ban, is to try to expose as many people as we can to the truth. We're still trying to figure out what horrible thing greyhounds must have done to human beings that they deserve to have us bring them into the world only to torture and kill them.
We decided not to use the worst pictures of greyhound abuse on this website. It seems that dog racing supporters always try to dismiss this sort of display as 'extremist' or as an attempt to 'shock' people. If you would like to see the gruesome reality, please take a look at some of the other anti-greyhound racing sites. The pictures are shocking and they're real.
The approach of GreyhoundRacingSucks.com is to appeal to your common sense in another way. By contrasting the image of sweet and innocent greyhounds with information about the inherently money hungry, blood sucking nature of the dog racing industry, we are hoping you will come to the conclusion that dog racing is a travesty and you will join the fight to put an end to it.
