Doctor Lord and the staff are dedicated to providing comprehensive eyecare of the highest quality to our community by utilizing the most up-to-date instrumentation and through continuing education each year. The areas of practice emphasis are general eye health exams, the treatment of ocular disease and comanagement of both laser vision correction surgery and cataract surgery. We are very proud of our experienced staff and the professional eye care services we offer. All of our staff has been in the eye care profession for many years and enjoy working with our patients to assure them that they will maintain a lifetime of healthy eyes and optimal vision.

Dr. Wilburn Lord, Jr. has practiced optometry in private practice since 1977. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the Southern College of Optometry and has practiced in the Delta for 24 years. He is certified to both diagnose and treat eye diseases and disorders. In 1998, Dr. Lord completed the Southern Diplomat Program and received certification in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. He is involved with the Diabetic Initiative in MS and has received additional training in the comanagement of laser vision correction surgery.
