Great Article Interview Questions
These are possible questions to ask SpotlightUs Page clients. You certainly don't need to ask them all, but the ones you think that match their site/business best. And feel free to make up your own. Any information that you can get that isn't on their website will be great and helpful and that's the goal of an interview. You can see the articles that we've created to get a feel for what we're creating and what info might be particularly helpful.

- What is your background?
- How did you get started in this business?
- What is a good early story about your business?
- Who is your typical customer or website visitor? (Example: Homeowners in Toronto)
- What are some interesting statistics?
- What is unusual or unique about your business, in comparison to your competitors or similar businesses?
- How would someone external describe your business?
- Who within your business, other than someone in management, best exemplifies your business and can you give an example of that behavior?
- Is there a customer experience you are most proud of?
- How many employees do your company have? When was your company founded?
- Does your business have an online presence on other social web spaces like: Yelp? Facebook? MySpace? YouTube? etc. (If yes, note the URL or have them email you links.)
- Are there any press releases or online mentions in any magazines, newspapers, or online articles that you would like included in your article? (If yes, note the URL or have them email you links.)
- Do you have a newsletter or other way you keep in touch with your customer base?
- Do you do any charity or non profit work?
- Who are your competitors? (What are their websites?)
- Other related websites -- suppliers, subsidiaries, partners, etc. (and how they are related?)
- Who are some of your most notable clients?
- What is an interesting story about a customer interaction you had?
- What are some of your greatest challenges in your business?
- Are there any testimonials from clients that you would like included in your article?
