My work currently focuses on "Natural Events," places, situations and objects that already exist. I try not to manipulate or create a fabricated stage. Instead I endeavor to capture the scene and the feeling I have when I experienced an area for the first time. I feel my art comes into an given image based on how I perceive and record that given experience. Originally self-taught in oil painting I discovered photography is a medium that better suits my mobile lifestyle.
