Gotham Public Works first formed in 1999 after its two founding members met at a costume contest and discovered how they each felt a unique bond to the characters they portray, and also shared a strong desire to make something more of it. Since then GPW has become and experienced far more than they dared expect in the early years, with a focus on exceptional character portrayals and ever-improving costumes being at the heart of their success.
