- Guardians of the Flame (GOTF) was chartered July 17, 2005. The concept of GOTF was not to be a raiding guild, but rather a friendly, helpful guild that also happens to raid. We are a mix of casual to hardcore gamers and focus first and forement on guild members as players, not just a toon. We are family and friends, we are partners, we are parents and children, and we are husbands and wives, and we expect to play together for years to come. We expect to grow as WoW grows, but are not beholden to Blizzard and may one day expand to encompass other games.
