Northeast Specialty Packaging began in Massachusetts in 1978 as a primary packager for Pillsbury. In 1997 Northeast expanded its operations to its Parkesburg location to better meet the needs of its primary client. When Pillsbury was purchased by General Mills in 2002, Northeast consolidated its operations into its Parkesburg facility and focused on providing packaging services to large clients that use wheat and corn flour.
