John and Estella Raker, Good Shepherd has steadily expanded over the last 95 years to now serve Allentown, Bath, Bethlehem, East Stroudsburg, Easton, Kutztown, Laurys Station, Lehighton, Palmerton, Schnecksville, and Slate Belt. Good Shepherd is one of the most comprehensive rehabilitation institutes in the world.
Good Shepherd's goal for every one of our patients, residents, and clients is for them to achieve their maximum level of function and independence. We do that by offering many levels of rehabilitation care including comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, long-term care for the severely disabled, long-term acute care, and supported independent living.
