GONEboarding was founded in May 2001 by myself, as a part-time project. Whilst the site still remains a part-time project of mine, it continues to grow both in terms of the functionality it provides, and the community itself that uses it. In this short space of time, I have now re-developed a total of 7 versions; each of which has shown significant developments & enhancements over the previous versions.
Registration is completely free of charge and offers several incentives over using the site as an un-registered user. Such incentives include, the ability to post in the Forum, write reviews, submit Gallery photos and videos, participate in the any of the competitions we run and much more.
Whilst GONEboarding is completely free to use, we still rely on both banner advertising and the generous voluntary support of some of our members, to help maintain the site and keep it running (hosting & bandwidth fees etc.). A list of those members that continue to support GONEboarding are listed below.
