History of Downingtown Country Club
The Downingtown Country Club’s 6,619 yard, par-72 golf course was designed by George Fazio and constructed between 1965 and 1967. Mr. Fazio placed in the 1950 U.S. Open, held at the Merion Golf Club, and was a touring professional for a number of years. Downingtown Country Club recently made several renovations, accentuating the club itself and the view of the natural beauty surrounding it.
