GODISA TRUST NOW KNOWN AS SEDA TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMME
Godisa Trust joins forces with National Technology Centre to form the Seda Technology Programme with the aim to improve the overall delivery of services and support to the small enterprise community, innovators and entrepreneurs in SA.
The Seda Technology Programme (STP) is a special initiative of the national Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) responsible for technology transfer and business incubation.
Originally, the Godisa Trust, established in 2000, was a joint initiative of the dti and the national Department of Science and Technology (DST), responsible for technology–based business incubation. The National Technology Transfer Centre was, on the other hand, a dti programme responsible for enhancing the transfer of technology. This successful merger between the two initiatives has already exceeded to improve the overall delivery of services and support to the small enterprise community, innovators and entrepreneurs in SA.
