Briggs is the creator of True Dirt a popular blog on gardening, nature, and life. She cofounded Enterzone and was its Nonfiction Editor from 1994 to 1998. She is also a contributor to Telegraph, Enterzone's inchoate successor, and to Edgewise, a political weblog. Briggs' essay A Tree Grows in Oakland was published in the New York Times Sunday Magazine on May 16, 2004. A comprehensive list of her web writings will appear here someday.
