Haddock Corporation saw its beginnings in Wichita, Kansas in 1978. Richard Haddock was a software developer who wrote the "Petroleum Accountant" for an independent oil operator. The Petroleum Accountant was sold throughout North America and used on the IBM 5110, 5120, and the IBM System/23 Datamaster. By 1983 our company had grown, and Haddock Corporation, known then as "Wichita Software" existed as a pair of "software only" stores.
