Government Office for the West Midlands co-ordinates the delivery of Government policy in the region, helps people to understand that policy, and informs Ministers of the region’s needs.
Our region is noted for the diversity of its cultural heritage, its densely populated cities, its remote rural landscapes and extremes of wealth and deprivation. We work to ensure that the decisions taken nationally have real impact on the ground and that the West Midlands, its people, its culture and its outlook, influences the development of policy and strategy at the national level.
